This week I took part in the #5DayLipstickChallenge started by Kelsey from Blondes and Bagels! It was the perfect excuse to snap some pics with my favorite lipsticks and post them for all to see. I got some really amazing feedback from these and I loved seeing what other bloggers decided to post too! Overall, this challenge was so much fun and I definitely want to do something like this again. If you missed any of the posts, I decided to put them all in one place for you. Enjoy!
I started off the week with my favorite color at the moment: fuchsia! I like to wear this shade when I am feeling a little too spunky for a classic red. This lip color is Kat von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in “Bauhaus”. I love the formula of these liquid lips. It’s very light but packs a powerful pigment punch!
This color got rave reviews on Instagram and it’s a personal favorite of mine as well. I have posted about it before, but it is NYX Liquid Suede in “Stone Fox”. It’s a really unique blue-gray color that is surprisingly wearable. The only negative thing I have to say about these lipsticks is they don’t dry completely like other liquid lipsticks. Also, for some strange reason, it is extremely prone to getting on your teeth! Other than that, I love it!
This one is a newbie to my collection. It is Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in “tbt”. I am not a fan of how light pink lip colors look on me so I normally go for ones that have more brown in them like this one. The thing I love most about this lippie is how creamy and non-drying it is!
I went a little crazy with this one but I couldn’t resist! Since green lipstick isn’t exactly on trend, I try to wear this one any chance I get. It is “Mistletoe” from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, the perfect Christmas green.
Usually I’m a matte red girl but every once in awhile, I like the drama of a glossy red lip. My go-to is L’Oreal’s “True Red”. The packaging is so glamorous and I thought it would be the perfect way to end the #5DayLipstickChallenge and start Valentine’s Day weekend!
So whether you have a Valentine or not, slap on your favorite lipstick and stay glamorous!
