Sing it with me –Β it’s the holiday season! This is my favorite time of the year; from the movies to the music to the beautiful decor. For artists and creatives, it is just one big ball of inspiration! This year, I put together these 4 holiday makeup looks that you are going to see. Not only are they holiday-inspired and oh so festive, they are easy too!

I am a true believer in the idea that you don’t need to use dozens of products to create a beautiful makeup look. That’s why I used the same base makeup on all of these looks and kept the number of products I used to a minimum. It’s easier for you and your wallet!

Here is what I used for the base makeup:

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer

Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer in “Light” & “Medium”

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in “Fresh Beige”

NYX Finishing Powder in “Banana”

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Pressed Powder in “Buff Beige”

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara in “Blackest Black”

Milani Baked Blush in “Luminoso”

That is a really easy and effective base makeup look that I always go to. It’s versatile and provides my oily skin with a good matte foundation. Now, let’s get into the good stuff! Here are my 4 favorite, trendy, and simple holiday makeup looks.

A Sparkly Statement

The eyes: Urban Decay Special Effects Lip Top Coat in “White Lie”Β Β

The lips: Milani Amore Matte Lip Cream in “Devotion”

The glossy eyelid look has been a huge trend this past year, along with iridescent textures. I wanted to try these trends out myself, and I loved it! It was such a different look for me, but I found it surprisingly flattering paired with the velvety red lip.

If you want to make the statement without all the sparkle, dab a clear lip gloss on your lids instead!

Icy & Neutral

The eyes: Lorac Pro Palette 2; “Lt. Brown” in the crease, “Snow” & “Beige” on the lid and brow bone

The lips: Tarte Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in “Bestie”

When I did this look for the first time, it totally gave me ice queen vibes! If you’re a lover of neutral shades and subtle looks, than this one is perfect for you. I kept things neutral by sweeping a warm brown shade in my crease alongside the matte lip. That helped the light, icy shades really pop!

Edgy & Metallic

The eyes: L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in “Black” ; blended out with “Black” from the Lorac palette

The lips: L’Oreal Infallible Metallic Lip Paint in “Galactic Foil”

Another trend I loved this year was metallic lips! This berry lip color is super sparkly and pairs wonderfully against a smoked out winged liner. I achieved the eye look by roughly drawing a wing with a pencil liner and then using a black eyeshadow to blur the lines. I then sharpened the line a bit with a makeup removing wipe. It’s an edgier and simpler way to achieve a cat eye!

Fun & Festive

The eyes: NYX Slim Eye Pencil in “Emerald City” & Covergirl Intensify Me! Liquid Liner in “Emerald” ; Anastasia Beverly Hills in “American Doll” – dots; “Snow” from the Lorac palette – inner highlight

The lips: Milani Lipstick Color Statement in “Matte Confident”

This one is for all the Christmas junkies out there! Colored winged liner is so much fun to experiment with and not as scary to wear as you might think. To make it even more festive, I decided to add the red accent dots using a pointy eyeliner brush and liquid lipstick. Super fun, right?!

I will definitely be sporting the last one to all of my holiday festivities coming up… or maybe those sparkly lids. Too many fun ideas to choose from! I hope you found some inspiration in these looks, or at least had some fun looking at them. Happy Holidays!

These all look so good! The first look is what I usually think of as holiday makeup, but the others provide a good mix of ideas.

These are all such fun looks! I always gravitate toward the shimmer and sparkly eye shadows. I wear gold eye shadow nearly everyday. I also love bold looks and often wear thick top eyeliner.
