Beauty empties are the products we love so much that we use them up until the last drop! So often, we purchase products that either we don’t like or aren’t strong enough to replace our current favorites. So when we find a product that we use until we can’t use it anymore, it’s kind of a big deal! Shown here are just some of the beauty empties I have in my stash that I strongly recommend everyone to try 🙂
I mentioned this spray in my recent article about how I rock my natural curls. I love this one because it’s so versatile – you can use it as a detangler, leave-in conditioner, primer, or as a refresher for natural curls. I often spritz it on my second-day curls or use it to smooth out fly-aways. And it smells like apples, which is amazing!
This has been a favorite of mine lately, especially on days when I don’t feel like having a dramatic lash look. This mascara is perfect if you want your lashes to look naturally long. It is a very lightweight formula that doesn’t clump or feel crusty on the lashes. It actually feels like nothing is there!
I love to use masks but I hate when they dry my skin out so much. Many masks contain clay, which can be very drying on the skin. However, this one in particular makes the skin feel very soft after use. I even find that my makeup goes on smoother the next day!
I am a fan of all the creams in Miss Jessie’s line. The Pillow Soft Curls takes the cake but the Multicultural Curls is a close second. It doesn’t weigh my curls down or make them crunchy. It just lets them sit softly and naturally, which I love.
I am very picky about lip balms. I don’t like them to taste or smell like anything special and I want them to actually moisturize my lips, not just leave a waxy film on top. I also don’t like them to be too greasy either, especially because I often use them to prep my lips before lipstick. So you can see my dilemma here! I finally came across this Palmer’s lip balm a couple years ago and haven’t turned back since. There is no fragrance or flavor and it leaves the perfect amount of moisture behind.
