When a 5 minute makeup look is the only option you have, contouring and a smokey eye are just out of the question. You not only need to cut steps out of your usual process but you need products that will work just as quickly as you. No fussy foundations or clumpy mascaras allowed! Here are 5 products that will be your best friend when you press the snooze button one too many times…
This concealer has been proven time and time again as one of the best drugstore concealers (or overall concealer to some). It’s not too thick and it provides great coverage. I like to use the shade “Medium” to cover up blemishes and acne scars since it blends in more with my skin tone and the shade “Light” to brighten under my eyes.
If you wanted to, you could cut out concealer all together with this foundation. It has great buildable coverage without getting cakey. It has a dewy finish but can easily be mattified down with a powder. Versatile and inexpensive – I like it!
I have been using this powder for ages. For me, it is a great competitor to Rimmel’s popular Stay Matte Pressed Powder that I also used for a long time. Use this one with a big fluffy brush to easily lock in your foundation and concealer. It also adds the perfect extra layer of coverage without overdoing it.
This is a new favorite of mine. I will say, it provides you with more length than volume so be aware of that. However, it does NOT clump at all and gives great results in just one swipe. The final look is very natural and stays put all day.
This pinkish-brown shade looks good on everyone. Another tried and true drugstore product, these glosses are nicely pigmented and have some impressive staying power. “Tiramisu” and “Fortune Cookie” are also preferred shades of mine.
